Natural Bridge

Yesterday, my parents and I took a hike through the natural bridge. It was so beautiful down there! I can't believe all of that is in Arizona. Who knew it could be this green? Anyway, here are some of my favorites of the pictures that I took. Enjoy!

March 5, 2010 will change my life forever...

So, about a year ago, a friend told me that Tim Burton was doing a remake of Alice in Wonderland. I absolutely LOVE his movies! Nightmare Before Christmas is one of my all-time favorites. I just love the creepiness that he puts into them all. Anyway, I was ecstatic to hear about this remake. Alice in Wonderland was already amazing as it was, and handing it over to Tim Burton pretty much guarantees total epic-ness. Ever since I heard about it, I've been waiting to see something... ANYTHING about it.

Then, on Tuesday night when I went to the midnight premier of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, I was sitting in line, and a friend I was with looks up and notices this poster on the wall. Of course, it was for the remake of Alice in Wonderland. I felt stupid that I hadn't noticed it earlier; it was literally right above my head. But anyway, I started freaking out! I knew Johnny Depp was going to be in it, which automatically made me excited, because he plays these kinds of characters fantastically! But when I saw this poster, I got 1369876187346918376x more excited; he's playing the mad hatter. I'm sooooo ecstatic for this movie, you guys. You have no idea. AHHH! They've got some great actors to play in this movie! Here are some of the pictures I've found so far.
This is Alice, played by Mia Wasikowska (shes an new austrailian actress, I think.)

The Mad Hatter - Johnny Depp (surprise, surprise :D)

The Queen of Hearts - Helena Bonham Carter (PURE GENIUS!)

Tweedledee & Tweedledum - Matt Lucas (I haven't heard of him before)

The White Queen (a new character, I'm assuming) - Anne Hathaway
Another character that I was excited about was the caterpiller. Guess who's playing him? Alan Rickman (better known as Snape in Harry Potter). He's going to do FANTASTIC! There's a full cast list on IMDb, so check that out if you're as excited as I am for this movie. Anyway, I just thought I would share this news with everyone who reads this. I cannot wait to go to the midnight premier of this! :D

Grandparents House

Yesterday we went over to my grandparents house for my cousins birthday party. These are just some of the pictures I took behind their house. Nothing too exciting, but I think they're fun to look at. (:

NEW MOON TRAILER!

I AM SOOOOOO EXCITED, YOU GUYS! :D I just wish Rob Pattionson would lighten up a bit; he's always so awkward. Oh well, I guess Taylor Lautner makes up for it. :D (No offense intended to the Edward fans out there. Jacob is so much better, in my opinion)

ASL Final

So, for our final in ASL, we're supposed to sign a song. Last semester, I signed to "I will Follow you into the Dark" by Death Cab for Cutie. It was fun to sign, but it was a little bit too slow for my taste. So I decided to change it up a bit this semester and do a fun, fast(ish) song. You ready for this...........?

video

Haha! I had so much fun signing it! I really wanted to go all out and do full-on zombie gear & makeup, but I decided that it wouldn't be worth the effort. I would have had to miss the other songs in my class while I changed and washed my face off. It was still REALLY fun though; and it seemed like everyone enjoyed it! Anyway, I just thought I'd share it with whoever wants to watch. :D

Oh, to be a kid again..

Here are some pictures I took today. The first couple are just kinda random. But once you get farther down, the pictures are all on the little playground in our backyard, which I like to call my new chill spot. That thing is actually prety cozy. (:

Liberty Prom 2009

This past saturday, my school had our "Spring Formal".. We weren't allowed to call it Prom because there aren't any seniors. Pretty lame, if you ask me. But anyway, I went with my friend kyle; we doubled with some friends of mine, Brian and Kaylee. It was so much fun! StudCo did a good job with everything! Here are some of the pictures I've gotten so far. Enjoy :)

Tucson

On Friday, we all went to Tucson to watch Spencer graduate from the Correctional Officer Training Academy (COTA). On the way there, we passed Picacho Peak. I love this landmark. It always reminds me of The Host by Stephenie Meyer. I love how her books are in Arizona. It's cool to picture the actual place where everything happened. Anyway, I snapped this picture right as we were turning the corner and thought it turned out pretty good. I love how the sign is actually pointing to Picacho Peak. It made me smile
Enjoy :)
